We have had a brilliant 3 days of summer school with many of our new Year 7 intake pupils.

They participated in a wide range of activities which included sessions in Hockey, Computer Science. History, Drama, Food Technology and Team Building. This was a great opportunity to get to know other pupils who will be in their year group, meet more of our teachers and to familiarise themselves with our school environment.

We were very impressed with the positive attitudes, exemplary behaviour and high levels of enthusiasm displayed by pupils as they participated in the sessions. Pupils left summer school feeling more confident and even more excited to become a Wednesfield Academy pupil when they start Year 7 in September!
