Yesterday afternoon, we had the pleasure of taking a group of pupils to Bentley Court Care Home for a wonderful musical afternoon led by our talented pupils.

The pupils put on a fantastic performance, singing a variety of songs, showcasing their talents on different instruments, and encouraging the residents to join in and sing along. The atmosphere throughout the afternoon was full of energy and enjoyment, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.

As always, the pupils were a real credit to the school and represented Wednesfield Academy brilliantly. The staff and residents at the care home are always incredibly complimentary about the pupils’ behaviour, kindness, and maturity they show during the visits.

It was especially lovely to see our pupils confidently showcasing their talents while also bringing so much joy and entertainment to the residents. Experiences like these highlight the positive impact our pupils can have within the local community and the importance of building meaningful connections across generations.

Overall, it was a lovely afternoon and a brilliant way to start the week for everyone involved!
