Year 7 had the wonderful opportunity to visit Warwick Castle on Tuesday 15th July. Pupils were taken back in time as they visited the Grand Hall and State rooms viewing artefacts and portraits that all tell the story of the castle’s ownership through time. Their History lessons were brought to life when they observed the War of the Roses Jousting performance - a highlight of the day. The Falconers Quest demonstration was a real treat and brought a high level of excitement as the birds of prey swooped over the heads of pupils. Pupils also loved the opportunity to explore the grounds, climb the Tower and really experience was life was like in medieval England.
