This morning, Wednesfield Academy held a memorial for the fallen inspired by year 12s visit to Auschwitz. A silver birch was planted with the sign:

This plaque honours the victims of genocide across all nations and times.

Their suffering compels us to remember, to educate, and to stand against hatred in all its forms.

Both staff and students attended the service with some poignant words for to remember the fallen.
