IMPORTANT MESSAGE

As the pupils arrived at school this morning a water pipe has burst resulting in the school not having running water.  We have had mechanical engineers onsite within 20 minutes who have confirmed that the issue cannot be resolved in less than 2-3 hours, but possibly longer. 

This means that with regret we have to shut the school for the rest of today, as we cannot have the pupils in school for hygiene, hydration and catering reasons without running water. I am very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, and we will update you if the issue cannot be resolved today.

Pupils will be dismissed at 9.30am, but we are instructing all pupils that if they cannot make their own way home they are to stay onsite.  

If pupils want to complete any work while at home, we recommend they use our online platforms such as GCSE Pod and MathsWatch.

Apologises for the situation, this is certainly not what as a school we would ever want to do.
