This month, as part of our personal development programme, we have been focussing on what it means to be an active citizen.
Our form groups have been creating Christmas boxes for the residents at Bentley Court Care Home in Wednesfield. On Wednesday 20th December, our prefects delivered the Christmas boxes the form groups had created to the residents at the care home.
The prefects enjoyed speaking with the residents over a hot chocolate and marshmallows in their communal room and then delivered some of the boxes to residents in their individual rooms.
Wednesfield Academy has a great relationship with the care home and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.
